Rather than me writing out the whole thing again, here's a copy of what I wrote on another site pitching the same thing to people... Basically, I'm a writer looking for artists to partner with me on a fantasy/sci-fi webcomic, hopefully to progress to a full printed comic if publishers can be interested in the project. I have experience writing characters and similar stories to the comic idea over the past five years, and I'm trying to find an artist who will be able to create an entire new world fitting the concepts I have in mind. An ability to draw unique characters, not limited to humans, is a must. Details: - This job will be unpaid at

March Mayhem

0 min read
Alrighty then, so anyone who knows me here from the Escapist will know that right now a developer popularity contest, known as March Mayhem, is going on over on that site. What manywon't know is that a small number of us are fighting a desperate battle on behalf of game developers everywhere. A little bit of background info for you. For those who don't know, March Mayhem is a contest where 64 game developers go head to head in a series of 6 rounds, where in each round half the number will be eliminated in voting contests in a knockout style. This year, the Escapist staff decided to invite Zynga, developers of Facebook apps such as Farmville

As some of the people who 'Watch' me on this site are members of games magazine wesiteThe Escapist, I don't really need to explain this contes to them. However, for those that aren't already aware, The Escapist is currently holding a contest, closing 28t February, to find a new webcomic to be featured on the site. It's a paid contract and involves two strips weekly to be produced. Entry requirements are a main logo and four strips that will be judged by the site staff. Now, when it comes right down to it, I'm not an artist, at least, not when it comes to drawing. I can use GIMP and Terragen, and I can do wax pieces fine, but when it comes to

Thanks for the deviantWATCH...I appreciate the support!!! :iconbummiesplz:
You've been busy; awesome deviations! Wish I could say the same about me... Anyhoo, we seriously need to catch up some time! (I blame myself for the lack of contact :P)
Sorry for half a reply, pressed 'Enter' by accident :P. Anyway, how's things? How's uni life been treating you? :). And why have you been tatse-testing Moogles? Don't you know Viera ears are much more delicious, though they do have a bit more of an... 'exotic' taste... ;)
Uni's not bad, though second year's been a bitch compared to first year. Remember how big the jump in difficulty in some subjects was from AS to A2? Worse than that :S

Yeah, I have XIII. Is Epic Win. Also, Dissidia. Also Epic Win.

Viera ears, huh? I tried them; didn't really appeal. Then again, I've only tried Feol Viera ears... maybe it varies? XD Anyway, if you follow the link and read my RoF guide, you'll find out why I know what moogles taste like!
Heh, maybe I will check that link... As for XIII and Dissidia, I really need to get those, haven't been able to afford new games for ages so I've missed out. The reviews on the Escapist say XIII's great, but so many people have been complaining about the linearity up until the 20-hour mark, is it really that bad or not?

Uni's been tough with me too, first year was fairly easy because of it being so similar to Further Maths, but second year was a massive jump. Have to go back in August to do two resits, not looking forward to those at all :(. By the way, what happened to your fanfics? You never did anything of the Weakest Link one past the first chapter, I took a gander not long ago when I was doing a thread in the Escapist forums about fanfics (been meaning to write one about the Halo games backstory, you see) and you never did anything more with that... I guess you're too much like me with projects, just leaving them unfinished for ages and then giving up on them after a while :P
